I Became Interested In Being A DJ In 1978 During That Time I Only Became Familiar With Only R And B Just Before Hip Hop Became Popular. As Time Went On Hip Hop Music Started To Evolve And I Added It To My List Of Familiar Genres Of Music, Fortunately As I Started Getting DJ Gigs The Crowd Were A Very Diverse Crowd Which I Wasn’t Familiar With Their Culture And The Type Of Music Preference Such As Afro Beats And Reggae, Keep In Mind That The Genre Of Music Sounds Totally Different Back Then In The 80s VS Today. Now I Have Become An Open Format DJ With Being Exposed To Many Genres Of Music From R AND B And Hip Hop To Reggae, Soca, Reggaeton Etc. I’m So Thankful For Being Exposed To These Genres Through The Diverse Clients Through The Years Of My Profession As A DJ.
